About – UK Sustainable Building Network
UK Sustainable Building Network
Welcome to the UK Sustainable Building Network (UKSBN), a network dedicated to encouraging collaboration, innovation and championing sustainability in the built environment.
UKSBN brings together architects, planners, developers, local authorities, community groups and industry experts to tackle the challenges of climate change, decarbonisation and improving the performance of the built environment. Recognising the construction sector’s important role in achieving the UK’s net zero carbon emissions target for 2050, we aim to inspire practical, forward-thinking solutions that support better places, stronger communities and more sustainable outcomes.
The East of England Sustainable Building Network (EESBN) is part of the wider UKSBN network. EESBN currently hosts regular events in Norwich, bringing together construction and sustainability professionals across the region for networking, breakfast, guest speaker presentations and discussion.
Why Join Us?
The UK has a significant opportunity to lead in sustainable construction. While the challenges facing the built environment are national, many of the most effective conversations and solutions happen at a regional level. Through UKSBN and its regional networks, including EESBN, we aim to create spaces where professionals can share knowledge, build relationships and explore practical ways to improve the future of construction.
By joining UKSBN, you’ll:
- Strengthen relationships across the construction and sustainability sectors.
- Explore green strategies that elevate planning and client ambitions beyond minimum compliance.
- Access a forum to share best practice and learn about emerging technologies.
- Collaborate on solutions that address challenges such as funding, regulations and technical barriers to decarbonisation.
- Connect with regional networks, including EESBN, and contribute to wider discussions around sustainable building across the UK.
What to Expect
Our regular events, organised by Cannon Clarke Group, offer:
